The last few days have found me in and out of train stations in Holland. They are bustling places and populated with Dutch fast food, stylish clothing stores and flower shops. The quality in all is vastly superior to American airports, let alone train or bus stops. For instance, a typical fast food place is baking delicious flat bread then custom making sandwiches with a variety of spreads from hummus to herb cream cheese, with fresh roasted meats, grilled veggies and all the condiments, for under $4. And the flower shops! Is there someway for us Americans to raise our standards?
